1997 "What the customer had to say" Report

Administrator's Note: This report contains a series of more than 550 letters of appreciation to the Virginia DOT Safety Service Patrol. The report demonstrates the value of the service patrol in the customer's view. The following are two quotes from the letters.



"Apparently a fellow motorist reported my disabled car to VDOT. With about 5 minutes Mr. #### pulled up in a safety service patrol vehicle . . . He was extremely helpful and courteous. I very much appreciate his prompt assistance and I am grateful for this service offered by VDOT."



". . . like a guardian angel. He replaced the tire, checked the air and even removed a dead bird from our front grill. Within fifteen minutes of the "disaster" we were on our way home . . ."
