Summary Information

This report covered a small-scale study of cordon pricing systems to help state officials and other policy makers discuss the implementation and operational costs of alternative revenue-generating systems. Cost and revenue data were collected from cordon pricing systems in London, Oslo, Stockholm, and Milan.

The data collected indicated that operating costs and operating revenues averaged $75 million and $191 million, respectively. Thus, average operating costs were 38.7 percent of revenues. The data below excerpted from Table 35 in the source report summarized financial performance data from cordon pricing systems around the world.
