Unit Cost Component - Lane departure warning system for trucks



Description

System uses forward viewing camera and image processing technology and on-board computers to determine the intended travelling lane and lane position of a vehicle. Together with information from steering wheel angle sensors, the system can determine if the driver is unintentionally leaving the intended driving lane and provide audible, visual, or tactile warnings to alert the driver.
